The problem with the syringes available at that time was that the two mixtures through the bezel did not bond adequately. As a result, patients complained that their temporary fillings came off after a few hours of application. The solution provided was to alter the material of the plunger and the angle of the mixer. The end result was satisfactory and this product is currently being used by dentists in the US.
