Daetum was commissioned to design a casing for Metronics that would be robust enough to be able to withstand a drop test but yet economical enough to manufacture. The design also needed to be optimised to enable maintenance personnel to assemble the product onto the DIN rail and to administer the respective cables going through the connectors without any hindrances. The end product was satisfactory to the client.
